A few years ago I was asked to do some work for the Music and Video Exchange website.
This was sort of a dream job as I have been buying vinyl from this long-standing London institution
since a teenager. I spent a few days trawling through piles of vinyl and photographing
what I found. The aim was to make a series of collages to reflect the character of the shops.
Heres a couple of backgrounds made for the site.
Today, is National Record shop day, get down your local record shop, buy a record, support the cause,and help stop the banal corporate city tanning salon takeover.
